Cees van Nieuwenhuizen, GCA MSc.
Matt and Cees have known each other since they studied for their Master of Science degrees in Golf Course Architecture at The University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
Cees has more than 30 years of comprehensive golf industry experience throughout Europe and Asia. In the world of golf course construction, he's seen and done it all; from shaping, grow-in and turf maintenance to construction and project management.
Cees is able to oversee design, construction, and project management for both new build and renovation projects. His management skills include project planning and developing preliminary cost estimates and schedules in addition to working as a trusted liaison between the Owner and the Contractor.
Most recently, Cees was the design coordinator and project manager for the Twin Dolphin Golf Club in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The project was honored as the runner-up for Development of the Year by Golf Inc. Magazine -

Together, Cees and Matt have organized a collaborative collective of Architects, Engineers, Agronomists, and other specialists, which is called Q Golf Design.
Cees and Matt have worked or are currently working together on projects in Azerbaijan, Turkey, The Netherlands, and Spain.
